Some journeys start with a spark of inspiration. Ours began with a turning point.

In 2022, my life shifted dramatically after a serious car accident. Before the crash, my world was defined by the high-velocity energy of corporate strategy. I was surrounded by incredible, brilliant colleagues who pushed me to be my best and made the work truly meaningful.

But as I began the long journey of recovery, I realised that while my heart was still with that community, my body and brain required a different pace. I could no longer keep the relentless tempo of corporate life while navigating a mild traumatic brain injury. I had to learn to listen to my nervous system in a way I never had before.

During that time, I discovered that the clothes I wore changed the way I felt. I needed a sanctuary in my wardrobe—something that didn't feel restrictive or heavy. I wanted to capture that "Linen Feeling"—a fresh, breathable ease that honoured the senses.

A Shared Mission

I took ownership of LUXAMORE from Jen Treasure. This wasn’t just a business acquisition; it was a transition into a soul-aligned mission. I wanted to build on the foundation Jen created: a commitment to slow fashion that stands firmly against the environmental waste of mass production.

We intentionally choose brands that reject the cycle of high-volume manufacturing and disposable trends. Instead, we curate pieces made with artisanal integrity and intention.

Today, LUXAMORE is the engine that allows me to be a present mother and support my three children financially. It provides a future for my family while honouring the pace my recovery demands. We believe in the kind of strength that is built slowly, with heart and purpose.

Our commitment to heart and intention extends far beyond the boutique walls. We don’t just talk about resilience; we literally "walk the walk."

Every year, we commit to raising vital funds for mental health. Following the 30km Coast-to-Coast trek with my three sisters, we recently completed our second major walk in Brisbane—this time with my daughters by my side. Seeing them step up to support this cause reminds me why LUXAMORE exists: to build a legacy of strength, community, and support for organisations like Beyond Blue.
